This vodcast is a visually clear audio-based video is pictures that sums up the issue that is discussed in the interview. It is a video that is aimed at discussing a problem that is faced by university students at the University of Johannesburg, at the ladies residence called Karibu-Jamii. There has been an ongoing problem with the maintenance at the residences, but this episode is mainly focused on Karibu-Jamii. There is a guest that is interviewed who goes by the name of Celine Mlotshwa. Celine is a resident at the resident and has been residing there since 2021. She is affected by some of the issues that are not attended to such as broken lights, some of the showers not working, broken blinds and unstable WiFi which has been a big issue as it affects the studies of the students as well. It is imperative that such issues are addressed to enable change and for the responsible parties to ensure that they rectify mistakes that needs rectification. REGISTRATION MADE EASIER AFTER UNISA STUDENTS FACED CHALLENGES

The struggle of students every year when it is time to register continues and the University of South Africa infamously known for its bad administration is doing its best to assist them.  Concealed factors including outstanding debts and the lack of funding prevent the students from being able to register. The institution constantly has been under the water with its administration, giving students issues with their registration process.  UNISA is aware of the inability of the students to register and the main source of this problem is outstanding fees it was idling until several students posted on social about how registering with UNISA is a nightmare.  It released a statement that indicated how they have a new approach to resolving issues and there are exceptions in the registrations. “These exceptions include allowing for students with a remainder of two modules and debt from 2022 to be allowed to register and complete their qualification and the submission of an Acknowledgment of De

UNISA STUDENTS URGED TO REGISTER IMMEDIATELY

PRETORIA - The University of South Africa (UNISA) encourages students to complete their second-semester registration prior to the deadline in order to continue their studies. UNISA has made registration easier for returning and new students by providing them with assistance and support during registration from designated staff members, through direct communication channels such as telephone and SMS’s. In a statement released by UNISA, the Senior Media Officer, Tommy Huma said, “The university is aware that some students are unable to complete their registration as a result of outstanding and unpaid debt”. The institution claims that, in an attempt to resolve this issue, they have made some exceptions. “These exceptions include allowing for students with a remainder of two modules and debt from 2022 to be allowed to register and complete their qualification and the submission of an Acknowledgment of Debt (AOD) form”, said Mr Huma. INADEQUATE MAINTENANCE AT THE UJ RESIDENCE LEADS TO DEPARTURE OF SOME STUDENTS

Auckland Park - The ongoing maintenance problem at the Karibu-Jamii residence has left students struggling to live without constant concerns, leading several to leave as the situation is not getting better.  Since the beginning of the year, students have been complaining about the maintenance issues at the residence, which include not having water and unstable WiFi, which makes it hard to get any work done. It is claimed that this has been an ongoing issue and it gets reported but there seems to be no change at all.  "It is extremely difficult to work here at res because the WiFi is unstable, I cannot even attempt a quiz without it disconnecting", said the third-year BSc student, Zukhanye. "It is frustrating because sometimes I want to work in my room but I am forced to go to the library just to find a stable connection", added Zukhanye.  It is alleged that the House Committee members, specifically the chairperson and deputy chairperson always hear from the resident
